European Commission – Education & Training EU activities in the area of education and training aim to improve the quality of learning systems and provide people with more opportunities to learn in all stages of their life. While every member state is itself responsible for its education and training systems, common goals can be achieved with coordinated action. The European Commission concentrates its activities on two aspects: firstly, the cooperation with national authorities and European representations of interest to improve tried and tested procedures, and secondly, the development and administration of support programmes. |
