	Cedefop Cedefop is the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training. It supports political decision makers and practitioners at the European Commission, in the member states and in the organisations of the social partners throughout Europe so they can make informed decisions in matters of VET policy.

	European Commission – Education & Training EU activities in the area of education and training aim to improve the quality of learning systems and provide people with more opportunities to learn in all stages of their life. While every member state is itself responsible for its education and training systems, common goals can be achieved with coordinated action. The European Commission concentrates its activities on two aspects: firstly, the cooperation with national authorities and European representations of interest to improve tried and tested procedures, and secondly, the development and administration of support programmes.

	Eurydice The Eurydice network supports and facilitates European cooperation in the field of lifelong learning by providing information on education systems and policies in 38 countries and by producing studies on issues common to European education systems. It consists of 42 national units based in 38 countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme and a coordinating unit based in the EU Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency in Brussels. One of the key products of Eurydice is Eurypedia, a European encyclopaedia on national education systems.

	Erasmus+ Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. It runs for seven years, from 2014 to 2020, with organisations invited to apply for funding each year to undertake creative and worthwhile activities. Erasmus+ aims to modernise education, training and youth work across Europe. It is open to education, training, youth and sport organisations across all sectors of lifelong learning, including school education, further and higher education, adult education and the youth sector.

	VET-Bib VET-Bib is the largest bibliographic database on vocational education and training in Europe. It has been developed by Cedefop together with ReferNet. It includes also key EU documents consulted and needed by Cedefop experts and projects and selected bibliographical information from Cedefop’ projects.

	VET Repository of the BIBB This database focusses on literature on VET in German. It is hosted by the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB).

	ILO - International Labour Organization The International Labour Organization (ILO) is a special UN agency responsible for the formulation and implementation of international labour and social standards. The website contains, among other things, descriptions of the ILO's objectives, tasks and fields of work, access to the ILO's extensive and diverse research results and publications, to the ILO databases and interesting information on events.
