	The web portal of Austria’s VET school sector This website provides information about VET schools in Austria, about educational standards, the quality management system in the VET school sector (QIBB) and about the key pedagogical project "diploma thesis" (as part of the final exam of five-year VET programmes) and "individual learing support". Moreover, it covers information about the access requirements to regulated crafts.

	Research Network of Public Employment Service Austria (AMS) With its research network, Public Employment Service (AMS) Austria provides a comprehensive information and service platform to present and enable greater use of the results and activities of labour market, career, education and qualifications research. Research (e.g. full text e-library), expertise (e.g. AMS Qualification Barometer) and transfer of knowledge into practice (e.g. method and info manuals) provide the three main pillars here.

	ARQA-VET – Austrian Reference Point for Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training Founded in 2007, ARQA-VET supports key VET players in Austria with offers and know-how in the field of quality assurance and development. The aim is to create a network among these stakeholders and to play an active mediating role from and to the European level.

	Further education databases of the Länder The site provides access to the continuing education databases of the different regions of Austria as well as to the European online portal "Learning Opportunities and Qualification in Europe".

	Adult education in Austria The portal for the teaching and learning of adults provides information on current themes and developments in adult education. The magazine 'erwachsenenbildung.at', the specialist journal for research, practice and discourse that has been published since February 2007, is also available to download on this website.

	Austrian Conference on Vocational Education and Training Research The conference, held every two years, provides a regular forum to showcase developments and for discussions in Austrian VET research. It is aimed at specialists from the field of VET and occupational research, vocational pedagogy research, qualification and labour market research, as well as adult education and continuing education and training research. The conference can be seen as a response to a need for greater academic exchange and networking in this field and provides a forum for specialists to intensify exchanges and improve quality in research in particular.

	ÖFEB (Austrian Association of Research and Development in Education) / Vocational and Adult Education and Training Department ÖFEB is a non-partisan, national non-profit association which targets all people involved in research, development and teaching in the educational sciences. The Vocational and Adult Education and Training Department was established on 9 July 2009.
